Setting the Stage
The first two projects were accomplished in my first year at Mt Sierra College, the Carnival scene being completed soon after.
Park Scene
This project marks the beginning of my collection of custom textures, most of which came from the Huntington Library. It was my first application of tiled textures, pattern layers, 32 bit textures, deformers, specular maps and physical sun and sky.
Water Mill
This project required the application of more advanced modeling techniques: Instancing, bridging, high to low poly baking, level of detail swapping, and the use of ncloth and ncolliders.
Carnival
In this project I used a new UV mapping technique that really streamlined my workflows. I applied Maya's normal manipulating apparatus, as well as normal mapping, displacement mapping, and material special effects. 3 point lighting was the final stage of the project. Everything was geared towards realistic rendering.
